Best Lockdown Nonfiction Reads

I thought I’d share what I’ve been reading, if you’re scraping the barrel of your Kindle. So, in no particular order, an 8-word story on each of these 12 books:

collage 1

Love Does – Bob Goff

Our kids begged for chapter after chapter! Wonderful!

The Tech-Wise Family – Andy Crouch

Best resource on technology in its proper place.

Disappearing Church – Mark Sayers

Are we frogs in lukewarm church urn water?

Reappearing Church – Mark Sayers

Jesus will build His church, and there’s hope.

Becoming – Michelle Obama

She should totally be leading the free world.

Mud, Sweat and Tears – Bear Grylls

He’s hardcore, he loves Jesus, and you’ll laugh.

collage 2

The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry – John Mark Comer

Your life will be radically, beautifully, upended forever.

The Preacher’s Wife – Kate Bowler

This is fascinating for strong women in ministry.

The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse – Charlie Mackesy

(Not nonfiction, strictly speaking. But – )

This treasure spoke straight to my anxious soul.

Raising Passionate Jesus Followers – Phil and Diane Comer

Because this is all we really want, right?

The Way of Wisdom – Tim Keller

You’ll want to re-read every profound, enlightening page.

The Life You’ve Always Wanted – John Ortberg

Eight words aren’t enough. My favourite so far.

Also – THANK YOU to those who have messaged to say you’re reading (or re-reading) this:
